You know a book is a winner when both the kids and mom laugh out loud at the antics in the illustrations!

‘’Could I really get caught in a bubble and float up to the ceiling,’’ my son asked excitedly after reading Big Bubble Trouble.

Not wanting to ruin it for him, I looked him straight in the eye and said, ‘’If the bubble was big enough!’’

Big Bubble Trouble is a hilarious installment of The Bear Brigade series of books that encourages children to be safe around water by always telling a parent first when they plan to get wet.

A lot of the fun in this book is told through the illustrations.  Make sure to observe everything that is happening on each page!

We are introduced to The Great Bear Brigade on the very first page.  A likable bunch whose adventures provide life lessons to children on how to take care and be aware.

A little boy is shown playing soccer outside and he is as happy as a child covered in mud … which he is. To get clean, he throws his dirty clothes behind him and does a big bomb dive into the bath.

Things get a bit crazy as he washes away the dirt and he finds himself trapped in a gigantic bubble that starts floating too high towards the ceiling.

‘’The Brigade sounds the alarm and shows up on the double!’’

Coming to the rescue, the bears catch the boy as his bubble pops and provides advice to always tell an adult before you get wet … and of course, to watch out for big bubbles.

Jason Kutasi has written another easy to read, flowing story that’s great for reading out loud. Illustrator Javier Gimenez Ratti has once again, produced stand-out illustrations that keep kids entertained from the first to the very last page.
